How can I add a FREE Google search box to my Web site?

First step is to register an account with Google Adsense. That is the product where you will find the code inserts to place custom search boxes on your website.

The search box code is easy enough, as long as you understand where to place it inside your site, in relation to where on the screen you'd like it to appear.

You'll also need a separate page to display the custom search results, which is nothing more than another google code insert into a page to display the results.

You can configure the search results to display from the Internet, or your own website. This is setup in your Adsense account.

Sure go to google and find the code and create a result page to display. Its going to get more complicated because google search option will search your entire server pages and you must organize before adding so that titles match search terms otherwise its not worth having the search engine if accuracy is none.
