Should I switch to Diet Coke? (Please read)?

I drink 3 cans of coke a day, and if I switch to diet coke, i will save myself from having 126 grams of sugar a day (42 X 3). I also like the taste of Diet Coke. Should I do it?

    Your health would definitely benefit from the decreased calories, sugar and high fructose corn syrup. The healthiness of Diet Coke is also questionable because of the artificial sweeteners (specifically aspartame). Some sources have identified aspartame as a neurotoxin. You could consider switching to something like iced tea lightly sweetened with sugar or stevia. You would still get your caffeine fix, but it would almost certainly be healthier.

    Your best option would be to cut out the soda entirely, but if you must have something, Diet Coke is probably better in terms of calories and sugar, though it's worse for you in other ways =/. Just try to cut back on the amount you drink, 3 cans a day is a lot even for Diet.

    You should really be drinking water instead. Diet soda has artificial sweeteners which contain Aspartame. It has been said to cause birth defects, brain cancer, diabetes, and epilepsy/seizures. These aren't very good things, I'd say. Diet sodas actually make you hungrier, therefore..you eat more thus having a negative effect on your diet. Diet soda is actually not the healthier choice.

    Bottom line, any soda is bad for you. Try to avoid them at all costs.

    diet coke is worse for you because of all the substitutes for the sugar in it. it's better to just drink coke or drink less of it and drink more water instead

    NO! dude diet coke is unhealthy! it messes up your body from all of the artificial stuff

    drink it if your IN LOVE with it, but i recommend not to

    Are you definitely hungry, or just being greedy? Your stomach is only the length of a fist so it takes just a few food to fill it perfectly. Assess how you feel following eating. If you feel loaded, bloated or tired, you are either eating at the wrong time or consuming an excessive amount of.

    switch to water, diet coke has artificial shyt which screws up your body, you will lose weight, but will probably be even less healthy that you were when overweight.

    Laziness is not a physical disease, but a mental one. Make it easier for one's body to burn those extra calories by parking the car a little further away out of your destination or take the stairs rather than the elevator.

    Any time you can reduce calorie intake, it is good toward losing weight. The trick to weight loss is to burn more calories than you take in. Eat healthy and exercise and weight loss is a give in. Have a great day.
