Why is it now that when someone uses the term "Chicago Thug" everyone automatically assumes they mean Obama?

Update:

Could they not as well mean the former mayor of Chicago...

Or the former Governor of Illinois now on trial?

How about Obama's Communist friend, Van Jones (a Chicago native)?

Update 2:

Why not Al Capone? At least HE had style

Update 3:

okay.. fine...

I always mean Obama when I use that term.

Like the first poster, when I heard that term I used to think of Al Capone.. but you are right.. from now on I will always think of " Chicago Thug" to be another term for Barry.. he is the epitome of a smooth talking gangster.. he learnt well in the streets of Chicago apparently.. and here we all thought he was a community organizer.. Fooled us all, did Barry!

  • I think of a big burger.. perhaps a 1/2 pounder... "The Chicago Thug!"

"I'll have the Chicago Thug, with a bag of fries, and a Big Chug"

Paper or plastic? Paper works... it's less traceable.

Mr. Obama is not a thug. I have seen articles refer to him that way. He is, however, a very polarizing leader, who is prideful and punitive.

Let's give him the boot is 2012.

Its the context. Seeing as "Do you drink [something]?" Is a query of glaring answer, we promptly assume its of a few value or distinctive from the norm, for this reason "Do you drink [alcohol]?" became the understood question for those 3 words. locate somebody that want no drink to stay to tell the story and you will debunk that mode of theory, and persons will start to become extra particular.

Politicians have always bribed other politicians! How do you think Congress gets anything passed? One guy goes "I want this passed" another says "I'll vote yes if you vote yes on what I want passed," "Okay chummy." That's been happening since the first session of Congress. I could rapid fire off hundreds of time's it's happened, with both Dems, Republicans, and even Whigs!

    I thought of Rod Blogoyavich.

"Chicago Thug" is a brand of politics. Obama is its most high profile practitioner.

The same when you heard the term cowboy, everyone assumed it was Bush.

Fox has spread their own term in retaliation for all the **** they took from the dems during the last 8 years.

Because OBAMA came from CHICAGO POLITICS.

We've heard of him BRIBING people to vote for HEALTH CARE and CAP & TRADE

We've heard about him offering job to drop out of races...

    And now -> he's going to kick someone's ***!
