What does the term "Breaking Ball" Mean?

Well I thought that On-a-Break means taking some time out. A bit of space so to speak. Am sure when they finish their break she wont be too pleased to find he's been hitting on other people. Ive never done the On a Break thing.. but thats what I always thought it meant.. (space from each other for a bit) If I were you, I wouldnt let this guy hit on you. He's out of order as he has a girlfriend already. And I would say no to this guy asap. Its as bad as cheating as far as im concerned, and men like that cant be trusted..:(
