Aquariuses, how do you deal with rejection?

There is this really weird Aquarius in my intro Psychology class and we're mostly freshman but I think he's 20... he looks 35 but he's 20 I think.

We had to pair up into twos and get to know the person then introduce them to the class.

I'm all up for chatting with unique people, but he was really... really strange.

I didn't like him at all.

He spoke to the point he was nearly screaming, put expression in every word he said, he was trying way too hard to look professional and old, when he walked he slammed his feet really hard on the ground with each step, and when I responded back to him when he asked to be my partner, he would close his mouth really tight and widen his eyes, then flare his nostrils angrily.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say this, i've met alot of weird and not weird Aquariuses, but he tops them all 100%.

Aquariuses win for weirdest sign in the zodiac, sorry Pisces.

But I told him I would, figured out what he was like, then told him I didn't want to be his partner anymore because I noticed 5 minutes in, this girl was sitting alone.

He looked at me "calmly" and slightly "normal" for once and said that was ok.

I felt bad because he's probably already aware people think he's weird

How do you guys deal with rejection?

just because i'm Aquarius... doesn't mean i don't find really weird people weird. he probably felt isolated when you left him.. but judging from his character i think he's used to it. i do have a n Aquarius friend before who used to be so introverted..... and he's just really strange, period. i used to call him Alien. (as a joke. lol) im the approachable type so in my group (we were around 10) i was the only one he would talk to and i do talk to him but we don't really hang out. but i do find him interesting. because....idk strangeness is just fascinating to us i guess. i don't know if that person does it purposely thinking that it would make him interesting or to impress people but yeah, im sure that that person had a very dark dark past regardless. and not that he minds being alone but being an outside person its really sad to see other people get isolated just because society doesn't get them. that's where destructive ideas against mankind starts to sink in twisted people's mind is because of traumatic experiences like this. in his case, we don't really know what he felt. i have an aquarius bestfriend too and we don't really feel the same towards a situation.i do understand that you don't get him, but just say hi or greet him when you see him just to show that you guys are still okay and "no hard feelings" or "nothing's personal" he'll appreciate that. i know most aquariuses have experienced isolation some part of their lives and all they want is someone who'd appreciate them at least, regardless of how different they are.

rejection for anything? if and when i deal with rejection and failure, this is my thought process: Of course, I first feel disappointment and shame at "losing." I then feel anger, mainly at myself. Then, I close of all my feelings and I heal myself emotionally by slowly distancing myself from the situation. Then, I'll continue to pursue until I get what I want. Throughout this whole thing however, I kind of subconsciously keep a stony and non-caring look plastered on my face. Although, if we're talking about love here, then I would guess that it would either make me want the person more, or I would decide that they're not worth it and become cold emotionally (although they wouldn't be able to tell because I would still act warm towards them). But I rarely ever openly pursue, so I've never actually faced rejection in that matter.

I'm not like that and I'm an Aquarius. To be honest I don't like to be "rejected" but I'll move on and do my own thing. I feel all people from each zodiac sign can be odd and have problems dealing with rejection as well. That is odd for him to be acting that way though, kind of creepy if you ask me.

Well everyones different, it doesn't matter if hes an Aquarius or not but some of us don't really feel anything or maybe we do for awhile, contemplate about it for a minute and then go on and think of something else. He might of not felt rejection (and goes on doing what hes doing) or he kinda just thinks about it. I'm an Aquarius and this question really got me, because I don't remember dealing with rejection. Its probably happened but something else pops into my head and think about that well mostly I daydream alot too.

Btw. thanks for the weirdest sign comment but I prefer eccentric :D

My grandfather is an Aquarius and I swear to God he's crazy. He's always laughing like a hyena or going out of his mind crazy with some weirdo emotion. But it's like its not brought on by anything, it's all in his head. He emotional, but stoic at the same time. It's so weird, I have no idea how to describe it. All Aquarius's I know are like that. They're like...ADHD bipolar crazy mental disorder but they don't display, like, emotional feeling. Do you...understand? I don't know it's just so strange. I think they're like caught between air and water or something.

I've only had one Aquarius friend...she was something else.

lmao i love that guy!! I guess it is because i could relate to him, yes he is probably aware that you didn't like him and that you thought he was weird...it sort of upsets me but i get over it, he probably felt bad cause he felt left out just for being who he is. But don't worry, he probably doesn't hold grudges and if you went to talk to him again he would be friendly. I personally feel bad at first, but then i move on quickly, find someone else, do something else that i find more interesting. You don't have to feel bad for him, if i was him i wouldn't want anyone to feel bad for me. That is one of the reasons i always hide my feelings, i don't want anyone to pity me or to feel bad for me.

Well he obviously is acting like that because of pride when it comes to rejection. It's normal human behavior. Or he just doesn't care, typical aquarian attitude. I would explain more but it's not worth it when this section is full of hate.

btw I wonder why the two level 1 trolls up above me are answering, instead of showing their real face.

I don't really show it to someone who I recently met.. its like I don't care either but deep down inside it makes my knees go weak ( only if i was really really expecting something) but otherwise I don't care .. I agree with the user 'karma'
