Do i need a laptop for university?
I'm (hopefully) going to the University of Birmingham to study medicine. Will i need a laptop? I know there's a 24 hour library available to medical students but would having a laptop make my life considerably easier? Is it necessary?
Thanks

I would really recommend getting one. Having been to uni myself I don't think I could have survived without one. You have to do so many essays/read online articles/be in constant email contact with lecturers etc. I can imagine going to the library every time you need to do some work could be a pain and you're not always guaranteed that there will be a computer available. Try and convince your parents to get you one!
Hope this helps.

I think it would be easier, this way you can always have access. You won't have to worry about walking into the library and finding all the computers in use, or a few students talking about their facebook pages. Also, school library computers tend to run slower than your own.

Yes. It's a good idea to have a laptop.
