How much will I be getting on my FAFSA?
I've looked on the website, got my pin number, made numerous corrections, but I seriously don't know how much I should be getting. I can't find it anywhere.
All I know is that it determined my EFC to be 0.
Please help me out
thanks!

Well for starters, did you apply for FAFSA? (meaning did you feel out the online form?) Depending on your household's income, it determines what grant you're suited for and the amount of money that it (the grant) comes with.

When you fill out the fafsa, that information is sent to the schools you list. Then your SCHOOL actually puts together your "financial aid Package" and sends you an "Award Letter" detailing exactly what kinds and how much aid you'll be getting.
Be aware that making constant corrections to your fafsa increases your chances of being selected for "verification". Meaning you have to turn in certain documents to your schools BEFORE they will calculate your aid send you an award letter. Constant and unnecessary corrections delays your aid from being processed (because each correction has to be processed and reviewed by your school, then by the time they review it it sounds like you are generating ANOTHER version of your fafsa, which has to go through the same process) and verification can take a while (especially if you are slow in turning in all the paperwork you need to complete your financial aid file).
Contact your school if you do not have an award letter yet. 9 times out of 10 the school is waiting on YOU to turn something in (like W2 forms and Tax forms).
Again, you won't know how much you are getting until you STOP making corrections and talk to your school and turn in all the paperwork to get your file complete. Often times they email you a list of things to turn in... which the student doesn't recognize and ignores. Meaning you miss out on a lot of free aid (esp those with EFC's of zero).
