Is it possible to fracture a rib from playing golf?

I'm not talking about getting into a fight on the course or having a cart accident or falling off the barstool at the 19th hole, I mean from doing the ordinary movements associated with the game of golf.

It is possible, anything is possible, I suppose. But more likely would be pulling a rib muscle. First time I pulled one I thought I was going to die. Hurts to breathe, hurts to move. Clears up a day or two later though.

Note: I am not a doctor. If you need medical advice, go see a doctor.

Not unless you were run over by a golf cart or playing jedi lightsaber fights with your 9-irons....
