I know some names: Seleucid, Parthian, Ptolemic, and I assume Carthage and Rome were on the rise, but I'm looking for something that tells what happened between the Hellenistic states in the Mediterranean and Asia minor after Alexander died. I'm looking for ancient or modern sources. Can you help?

Which is better or worse:

Someone who does not believe in God but studies the teachings, attends services, participates in religious activities, follows the instructions of the religion in their daily life, and adopts all morals of the religion as their behavior code yet has no faith in the spiritual aspect

OR

Someone who believes in God and presents themselves as belonging to that religion but who breaks every commandment, knowingly sins and doesn't care, never shows charity and compassion and whose behavior is the opposite of the religion's teachings, and assumes that God will forgive them at the end?

I don't know the answer to this, does anyone have thoughts? Is one scenario better or worse than the other?

I like the scene where the cats all run over to rescue Michelle Pffifer in Batman and I like the scenes where that James Bond villian speaks but we only see him holding his white cat. Any other good cat scenes in films?

How do cats behave when they live in a big group? Is there a leader? Do they have a division of duties, like hunters, guards, or breeders? Do they all do what they like but live together like roommates? How is it all organized?

I moved out and my ex kept the bedroom furniture so I no longer have a dresser for storing my socks and slips and undies. I have huge closets so I can hang up shirts and pants but what do I do with the little things? Any organizing/storage ideas? I will buy a dresser sometime in the future but what about now?

what's the songwriting process like? Does one person do all the writing? Does someone start with a hook or beat or melody and everybody adds to it? Do you just jam until it clicks? Do people get mad if the end song is different than the original song? Who decides the final version? What about lyrics? Does music come first or lyrics come first? How does your band make your songs?

I'm not talking about getting into a fight on the course or having a cart accident or falling off the barstool at the 19th hole, I mean from doing the ordinary movements associated with the game of golf.

I have fair skin and sometimes get darker patches in areas where I had a blemish even if I didn't pick. It takes a while for the patches to fade. I'd like to speed up the process.

My doctor says that my post surgery swelling in my abdomen will be re-absorbed into my body naturally. I haven't had any infection or other problems. He says the recovery time varies. Is there anything I could do to speed up the process? Exercises? Vitamans? Special clothes? It has been 4 months and I still feel deformed. Thanks!
