Anyone been to Es Canar lately?

My wife and I are considering going to Es Canar next year. We are both in our 60s and she is disabled. Would it be OK for us, in the sense of not full of drunken 18 to 30s and flat enough for a wheelchair, with some evening entertainment such as music bars catering for our age group? We have been to San Antone Bay and loved it and Santa Eularia and hated it ( no offense to anyone but it was a dog shite ridden boring scruffy dump ) so we need somethin more like the bay. We don't mind young families around, as long as the kids are well behaved, but not the party scene.

Update:

Well if you never saw dog dirt you need an eye test Mimkat, the front was strewn with it every yard, but thanks for the info, we love Benidorm so Es Canar sounds like our kind of place. We aren't chavvy though, just not ready to lie down until we are dead.

San Antonia for me is full of teenagers, Es Canar was nice for families but is very busy in high season Santa Eaulalia was the best and I hated Benidorm, it is like a dirty, noisy Blackpool full of teenagers. I prefer Majorca to any other holiday resort in Spain and I have been to every resort, especially Alcudia which is great for families and couples, Santa Ponsa is also very nice

  • Blimey, you obviously went to a different Santa Eulalia than me then because I love it there. Never seen any dog dirt, beach is always clean & not busy, loads of fab restaurants & bars, (loving The Mariners especially), not boring at all. Es Canar to me is like Blackpool/Benidorm. It's alright for a 1 hour visit but I wouldn't stay there if you paid me. I'm sure others will tell you it's fab though. Too many English people in football shirts wanting chips & lager for my liking but yeah it's flat enough for a wheelchair & plenty of entertainment, just a bit chavvy in my mind. Actually scrap that, it's a lot chavvy.
