I not often think of that a lunch including some crab patties etc earns the Obama seal of approval on all Gulf seafood. He would desire to attend until eventually the finding out is finished on the lifeless fish that have been latest in a marsh in Panacea, Florida earlier ingesting anymore seafood from the Gulf. "Jack Rudloe, a marine biologist and proprietor of the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab says he have been given the call with regard to the fish kill over the weekend and in his just about 50 years of artwork Rudloe says he's never considered something like it. Juvenile pin fish and spiny field fish have been stumbled on alongside a marsh and dock in Panacea on Saturday. Rudloe who's been an energetic biologist for just about 50 years says there is no data of a purple tide. And he believes that the chemical dispersant's used to interrupt up the oil would desire to be to blame. "i myself ask your self if the dispersant's are not right here and while they focus and while the climate gets precise we see detrimental issues like those kills. This became the 1st that we've considered and that i'm hoping it somewhat is not the 1st of many," defined Rudloe. Rudloe says the fish are so decomposed that he's uncertain if we are going to ever understand precisely how they died. yet he has placed some in a freezer and is waiting to pay attention lower back from the dep. of Environmental risk-free practices to probable run exams. those pin fish stay interior the seagrass beds and are what grouper feeds on. lower back, it continues to be unknown how those fish died."

I hardly think that a lunch consisting of a few crab patties and so forth earns the Obama seal of approval on all Gulf seafood. He may want to wait until the testing is done on the dead fish that were found in a marsh in Panacea, Florida before consuming anymore seafood from the Gulf.

"Jack Rudloe, a marine biologist and owner of the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab says he got the call about the fish kill over the weekend and in his nearly 50 years of work Rudloe says he's never seen anything like it.

Juvenile pin fish and spiny box fish were found along a marsh and dock in Panacea on Saturday. Rudloe who's been an active biologist for nearly 50 years says there is no evidence of a red tide. And he believes that the chemical dispersant's used to break up the oil could be to blame.

"I really wonder if the dispersant's aren't here and when they concentrate and when the weather gets right we see terrible things like these kills. This was the first that we've seen and I hope it isn't the first of many," explained Rudloe.

Rudloe says the fish are so decomposed that he's unsure if we'll ever know exactly how they died. But he has put some in a freezer and is waiting to hear back from the Department of Environmental Protection to possibly run tests.

These pin fish live in the seagrass beds and are what grouper feeds on. Again, it is still unknown how these fish died."

If he said it is safe to eat then it is so. Is there any point in you mentioning his comments since you never "hear the truth come out of this guys mouth."

I have no doubt that food coming out of the Gulf Coast is and always has been tested given the oil seepage from the drilling in that region. The governor of Mississippi publicly stated that tar balls are common in his state.

The last thing business owners in the Gulf Coast want to hear is that the seafood is spoiled.

Curious that the culprit in all of this, BP, is not mentioned. They lied about the rate of spill and dragged their feet in providing video footage. Their proposal was a cut and paste job that included wrong phone numbers and dead people.

    Gary, have a nice day.

Is seafood from the Gulf safe to eat because Obama says it is? Of course and Obama has also closed GITMO and cut taxes for 95% of Americans Hahaha!

It is as safe to eat as the new energy policy to store power plant exhaust underground is also safe.

For every year one of these "green" power plants stores its exhaust, there is at least a 200 square mile zone of death when it suddenly, unexpectedly vents its contents.

Obama likes to think of himself as an Abe Lincoln, but Abe actually knew and understood science more than Obama.

Interesting I thought the fishing industry was dead down there and that the fisherman aren't fishing anyway so how is it that it is safe to eat if there is none to catch? I'll have to think about this one. What are they doing? Picking all the dead fish off the top of the oil and rinsing it off to make it look good or what?

I wouldn't eat it. It's probably washed with kerosene or alcohol or something so you can't smell the oil.

Compared to Kenya? Yeah it should be better than where he grew up.

Unless there is mercury in the seafood I wouldn't worry about it unless those chemicals BP spread all over are toxic> Any one ever find out what chemicals and are they harmful? Workers are reporting sick. Some of those workers could be just sick of work.

I live at the gulf and was disjointed he said so. Gulf Seafood IS safe. Everything he endorses goes to heck though. So we're screwed.
