The real estimate without government fiddling with the figures was between $2800.00 to $6400.00 per household. Much would depend on how many residents and the size of the house. The direct costs to the family would not be the major cost, it would be the cost of all goods that are transported, grown, manufactured or precessed where fuel is used to produce the end product. Even to the washing of food products previous to packaging would be affected. Water has to be pumped, pumps take energy, higher cost of production.

Another item which the proponents fail to mention is the involvement of the EPA in your homeowner rights if you decide to sell your home. Inspections and licensing is a requirement under the formerly known as "cap and trade" energy bill. The name was changed to divert the negative attention that cap and trade got. It is now "The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009."

what kind of a fool would believe that they can control climate change? HELLO it has been happening since the dawn of time. Oh yes lets act like we can control mother nature as well and charge everyone for it. They say conservatives are spreading fear this sounds like the libs are spreading their own kind of fear.
