How do I make my macbook stop talking?
When I startup my Macbook, my Macbook SPEAKS "Login, secure window" or something. Like speaks with a little mechanical voice. When I type my username it says "edit text. " and then starts calling out each letter. When I get to the password window it speaks "Secure edit text".
What's up with that and how do I make it shut the frak up?

its cause its set up for a blind person go into accessibility options and look for the screen reader program

Its efficient to let us know which OS of mac u have. they're all particularly diverse. In speech, under device alternatives, verify that the container suggested as "Announce whilst an application demands ure interest" is checked. Then pass to ichat, alternatives, indicators and then uncheck the container which says Announce whilst journey happens, and bring the quantity back to 0 in that container. which could give up it. Im working leopard, so thats what to do in there.
