Does the category "Philosophy" just mean that you can ask anything as long as it doesn't make common sense?

No, philosophy have many other branches, viz. philosophy of religion, epistemology and metaphysics. Especially in the philosophy of religion, or theology, we will always ask old questions like 'Where is God?', 'Is there an afterlife? and 'Do you believe in reincarnation?', and we will give our new answers (but the idea is the same as the antecedents). When we bring up old questions, that is common sense, since old questions have been debated for centuries.

"Philosophy, which brought us to the Absurd, can carry us through it as well?"

common sense???? --> collection of prejudices acquired by the age 18. You should read some more books. Philosophy is the end-station. It is the most durable thing I ever approached.

Lacking common sense, enough?
Hope I helped.
