Can I use a prepaid card to buy things online?

I was wondering if I could get one of those prepaid credit cards to buy things online, like eBay.

Most sellers on ebay want you to pay via paypal, for all the protection is provides. But you should be able to sign up with paypal using the credit card.

you must be 18 by law to have oor use one The problem with prepaid and gifts and most debits are holds if your order is $50 and you have a $50 card the hold will take the $50 and unless it is release by the time your order is ready to ship which 99% of the time it is not the card will be rejected for the sale. You need 2 times the purchase amount. Also most online site do not accept prepaid or gift cards at all. They are almost impossible to refunds on. Due to so many legit places Amazon getting orders together and then the sale being reject most places are no longer accepting these cards. Add to it sales to minors and soon no one will accept these cards except crooks. All prepaid and gift cards SUCK Federal law protects users of CC from fraud you have none with other cards
