2009 Suzuki Boulevard M50 valve train noise?
I have the above Motorcycle and just had the 1000km tune up done, which includes a valve adjustment, and it seems to me that the valves are noisier than when I took it in. I drove it back to the Dealer and asked the Mechanics, and they said it was OK, and that this is normal.....I just can't get over the feeling that there is something out of place. Anyone else got any ideas, or am I just paranoid. I am 52, and this is my 10th Motorcycle, but my first V-twin. Thanks for your input!

That bike should have hardly any noise in the valves after adjustment. I would go back to the dealer and talk to the manager of the dealership...NOT the service manager...the head honcho. He will make sure the bike is taken care of, and have the valves re-inspected. I have a feeling that the person who worked on the bike did the adjustments with the motor warm. It should be completely cold with at least an 8 hr. wait before a valve adjustment. If the motor was warm, the lash specs will be WAY off.
