How do I petition the court for a change of venue in Texas?
Hello I am trying to find out the proper way to petition a court for a chang of venue in family law. My brother has been served with papers to appear in court in a county that is 600 miles away on a family matter. The matter concerns his son who has never resided in the county where they have been summoned to court. Do we simply write a letter to the court asking for a change or is there a legal form that must be submitted?
