can jimmies/sprinkles be dyed with food coloring?
I wondering if there is any way to dye white jimmies. I need blue jimmies for candy apples for a baby shower and if I order them online the shipping is about 8 dollars or more. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for your help.

You should be able to buy blue jimmies in any grocery store - Genaurdis, SuperFresh, Acme. I've seen them in all those stores, there's no need to order them online. Also, how many jimmies are you getting for $8? That's crazy expensive. You don't normally put jimmies on candy apples, and I think it would be kind of gross. The two sugars taste too different from each other and would clash.
