Where in the Bible does it narrate a story of a weaker army defeating a stronger army through God's help?

It's been a long time since I've read the Bible, but hopefully those knowledgeable of the Bible can direct me to parts in the Bible where a weaker army defeat a stronger army through God's help.

Serious answers please.

Thanks

Judges 6-7 is a good one. Yes, it's the story of Gideon, again. But Judges 6 is more like setting the scene of what kind of situation they were in, and it introduces Gideon. Judges 7 is where the actual action happens.

Joshua 5:13-15 and Joshua 6 has the story of the fall of the walls of Jericho.

1 Samuel 17 is the story of David and Goliath. After David strikes down Goliath (and David was pretty young around this time - scholars think he was around 15-17) the entire huge Philistine army flees with the Israelites chasing them.

Gideon's story is probably the best.

Exodus 17:11 The Hebrews defeated the Amalekites as long as Moses held his hands up.

Judges 6 The Israelites beat the Midianites.

1 Samuel 17 The Philistines vs the Israelites.

    The lesson of Gideon.

They only had a handful of men but with God's help and guidance, they were able to defeat the Midianite army without even shedding one drop of blood or even fighting.

God's means has in no way weakened. only for the reason which you're actually not keen to properly known it would not weaken it somewhat. there are a number of unbelievers by using fact we live in a fallen international. certainly everyone starts off a sinner in desire of a Savior, no longer certainly everyone accepts the Savior for a myriad of motives. human beings "choose" hell by ability of their unwillingness to sacrifice earthly desires(repent & turn faraway from) and humble themselves before the risen Lord. to answer your final question: (Why are there ex-Christians, like myself who committed their existence to loving Jesus, transforming into Spirit-crammed, studying scripture, fellowshipping with believers, worshiping God - who now seem back and notice all of it as a grand psychological deception (reckoning on the place you reside will make certain your faith - for the main section.)?) the respond is uncomplicated, prophesy must be fulfilled. Many will fall away and become fans of self and the international extra advantageous than fans of Christ. next time, possibly only one or 2 questions according to placed up. advantages.

Gideon rallying the people of Israel against the Midianites is one that comes immediately to mind. You can find it in the book of Judges, I think. If you have a concordance to your Bible, look it up under "Gideon" and "Midianites."

I think there are many other examples as well, accounts of battles in which the armies of Israel and Judah prevail against apparently overwhelming odds.

    In a few places...

But not Judges 1:19, where having iron chariots beats having God on your side.

Wow, talk about a stupid lesson. I mean, sure, it's possible. But relying on God to help you win ? Are there no Christian survivalists or Army Sergeants ?
