[ that's amazing,it seems to gel all the current rumours quite nicely if it's true.. i think Dani's reaction to this will be telling.. as it looks grim for him at HRC, unless theres a third bike but i can't see that...<^><...
5 million euros a year seems like a bargain too,,,,
Jerry Burgess said recently that Valentino was definitely staying in MotoGp.. he just didn't say who with...

I cant see HRC paying that much for him.
Is he going to HRC ..... I'm 99% sure he is, but not for that amount. Not even Suppo could get that kind of backing for a rider who hates doing PR work and just buggers off half way through a season. Illness or not, it was completely out of order.
Regular meals was the cure. He could have done that in 1 weekend. A rider burning all them calories every weekend cant not afford to eat JUST protien bars and Gatorade.
No doubt Jorge will fill his shoes though. Rumours last year were stated at €22 million for 3 years and was without #99 bringing the number 1 plate with him.
Jorge loves doing PR & Phillip Morris would love to have him on his 'bar-coded' red bike and will pay big big big bucks if he brings the "1" with him.
Yamaha will retain #46 & bring #11 up from Tech3.
Casey will need to buck up his ideas if he goes to Repsol. Dani never stops doing PR work and they will want the same, if not more from Casey. If he continues (on the RCV) crashing like he is now, on a bike that Nicky is flying on, his contract will be 1 season long.
Weird really, because when he last rode the LCR Honda is was naff. A good result at the start and then peanuts.
Time will tell.

Im with Ciccio on this. cant really add to his answer. The comment I like is the one where Casey says he has the speed to run up front but cant sustain it. If the rest works and he is right we will see at Estoril. all the stuff from the Stoner camp is pointing to the right descision to rest himself. and a good recovery on the way. I certainly hope so. and as I said in the email. I think he will be back and not have to do the work Marlboro are wanting him to. Who else can they get to ride the Red beast. Even Lorenzo turned down the money. That just upgrades Stoners worth to me. How Casey feels about the offer they made is another story. It might even be enough for him to look elsewhere 2011. Get well soon Casey.
