What do you think when you hear the word "chimera?"?

Something apparently fantastic and wonderful but ultimately deceptive and non-existent.

I didn't have to look it up, dear. I knew what it meant and how it is used in modern English.

I think of the scene from Mission Impossible 2 where the girl injects herself with the poison. I keep on thinking that the name for it is chimera, but I could be wrong....

Its kind of stupid but when I see that word I think of this japanese anime I watched where a chimera is like a mixed breed of something, like combing human and animal, or two different animals. I don't know something like that.
