Do you think you should be able to comment peoples answers?
sometimes while reading peoples answers to questions (usually ones which are open to discussion) i reallllllllly want to comment on what someone is saying. Don't you think it would be handy to be able to discuss peoples answers? When you disagree with what someone is saying, there is no way that you can get your opinion across about someones answer.
Do you think that being able to comment on peoples answers would be a good change to yahoo answers?

Yeah but then that would be chatting & then everybody would be reporting everyone elses darn comments..Darn you Yahoo!!

No, I think yahoo answers is too large community and if it allowed comments to be posted on answers, then particular answers might get more attention than the actual question which is not good for the person who had asked the question.

yes i do think we should be able to comment on peoples answers... but there should be a "show comments" and "hide comments" option on each answer to prevent a load of spam just appearing on the page.. so you could choose to view the comments only if you wanted to

no, this isnt a social network like facebook. this is about getting answers not about debating or giving your opinion on answers. you take what you need form the answers and if there isnt anything to get out from any of the answers, try wiki.

I think it would make y/a even more fun, there should be something like reply to this answer & then the reply to the answers would be visible next to the answer.

yes i think that is a good idea it probably open up a lot of controversy though but it could bring up things that are helpful too
