Signing new contract vs. extending current one for Verizon Wireless phone upgrade?
I understand that if you sign up for a new 2 year contract you can get phones way cheaper than retail price. But my step dad doesn't want to do that, so if I want to "upgrade" my phone, can I just extend the contract and still buy a new phone from Verizon at somewhat of a discounted price?

I don't get it. Extending the contact IS doing a new 2 year contact, which your step dad doesn't wanna do, so...??
