I understand that if you sign up for a new 2 year contract you can get phones way cheaper than retail price. But my step dad doesn't want to do that, so if I want to "upgrade" my phone, can I just extend the contract and still buy a new phone from Verizon at somewhat of a discounted price?

I was browsing through iTunes and I was trying to view some songs by "Bloc Party". Their list of songs came up but at the top where you would normally see album covers were replaced with broken chains in a white box and there are red x's in a rectangular box. It has happened multiple times with other artists. Does anyone know what this means?

Over the past couple mornings, I've woken up with my throat hurting. It mainly hurts when I swallow saliva, but when it comes to drinking any liquids or eating food it's fine. I'm also dealing with a "stuffy nose" and right now it's only one nostril that's always stuffed.

What could these symptoms lead to?

I don't want my symptoms to get any worse and I don't really have any time to go see a doctor, so does anyone have any home remedies I could try?

I turn my computer on and connect my iPod to it using my USB cable. The symbol and "Do not disconnect" shows up on the iPod screen and it shows that it is charging. Once windows loads properly, I cannot find my iPod when I search in "My Computer". iTunes doesn't even automatically start because my iPod isn't being recognized. Could there possibly be a problem with my USB ports?

I'm 15 years old and I just went into the fridge and grabbed a Red Bull. As I was walking back to my computer, my dad started to yell at me and said that I'm not supposed to have energy drinks. When he said that he meant kids my age in general shouldn't have energy drinks. There is no evidence of alcohol in Red Bull either. It's not like I have one every single day of the week either. I just like to have one every once in a while. He seemed really mad at me but I really don't see what is the big deal about it.
