My son is getting ready to move into his 1st apartment with his best friend. Should he?

My son had an apartment with his best friend. Worked fine. Now they are both married w/kids and are still close friends.

It's a great idea, i moved into an apartment with my best friend and we are totally happy. Just as long as they aren't "party people" it should be just fine.

Meh buddy and I kind of partied hard after we got our own place, but it has naturally calmed down since the initial shock of "freedom" calms a bit.

It depends how long they have known each other for. If they have been best friends all their lives and have tolerated each other this long, then moving in together can't hurt. If they haven't known each other for a while then they haven't been around each other long enough to see what life is really like together. Anyhow, you'll find out soon enough.

No, moving in with your friends is awesome. You can do all kinds of crazy things, hate each other temporarily, and then look back on it and laugh.
