you are a 29 year old man trying to go with a 16 year old child. you are old enough to be her father and should be protecting her from men like you. don't do what charlie chaplin did because that was decades ago and you are not him. in to days world you are committing a crime and are called a pedophile and can do jail time for messing with this girl. and no if you have to ask if you can properly love that child as a woman no you can't because you have too much experience for her and you are doing her an injustice and taking her too fast for her age and you are taking away her teen years where she should be enjoying high school activities, she don't need the experience that you want to give her let her go along with her peers and her go with some one her own age, and you going with some one your own age. there are a lot of women out there that would be willing to go with you and do your bidding without you going with this child because that is what she is next to you a child. and if you know that it is not right why mess with her. and where is her mother in all of this, or are you taking advantage of her because you don't think her mother or parents would care. you need to have more respect for her and yourself than to do what you are doing. you are still young enough to get a young woman closer to your own age. let that child go. i don't know what a peado is but if its something bad then yes you are a peado.

I believe you can, I don't think it is morally right, you should at-least give the young girl chance to age and mature but I think you CAN have pure love for someone that younger than yourself. Just because the man is 29 years old, it doesn't mean he is some pedophile or wants to take advantage of the 16 year old girl. It IS possible for that man to have true feelings for someone, I mean she is 16, it isn't that old, but it is old enough to where she can make some minor decisions, like whether or not to see someone older than her.

Then again, allot of 16 year olds just aren't mature enough to see the whole picture. I think it would be weird for that 29 year old to want to be sexually involved with that 16 year old, but it isn't that abnormal if he truly loves her.

There is a huge difference between say a 9 year old girl and a 16 year old who has ***, ****, curves and pubic hair. Furthermore, it might not be illegal because in some states such as Georgia or Hawaii the legal age of consent is much lower(Google age of consent by state and you will see) As for why any 29 year old man would want to date a 16 year old is a little weird. Assuming you live in a state where this is legal you will have nothing in common with her and she will annoy the crap out of you. Not only that, she might feel the need to act more your age and miss out on the normal things 16 year olds do. Best to find someone closer in age to you.

That depends upon how much time a 29 year-old man is willing to spend in jail for having sex with a minor. After that he will always be listed in a popular book, "The Sexual Offenders Registry." Sixteen year old girls are jail bait, BACK OFF!

I think that the sixteen year old needs to time to grow more. at that age honestly your changing and growing into a woman.And that just tells you that the 29 year old hasn't grown up yet hence the fact how he is attracted to someone so young and inexperienced. You should feel like a father figure to someone that young not interested in pursuing a relationship. if its just appearance then trust me their is a whole bunch of attractive women closer to 29. So i think its questionable when men are interested in girls that young tells them they might want to take advantage. I would have to say yes he could. But just because something is possible doesn't mean something is right. Age really is just a number, and if she is mature and stuff that would explain it. Anyone can fall in love. Where he wants to or not he could fall in love with her. But acting on those feelings is where the wrong comes in. It is against the law, and the age difference is quite large. If he REALLY loves her than he could wait the 2 years for her to grow up, mature, and become legal. At that point it is frowned upon but, it is legal. So yes, he can love her, but acting on that love he shouldn't. Patience is a virtue.

The thing is that the girl will get bored as she grows up and will likely see the man as less exciting than when they first met. She will also change as she matures and solidifies her identity. Many girls go through this older man phase as an experiment.

I don't think it is wrong love is love and as long as she loves him back it isn't wrong, but many people in society would class this as peadofilic. However, if he truly loved her he would wait a few years until she was 20/21, so it didn't look peadofilic.
