When you get a red card during a game, when does the player get back to play?
So Kaka as well as Klose got a red card playing these last two days, and red card I've heard you're out for the next 2 or so games? Is that true, when do they get back in the game ?
FIFA 2010.
yes, kaka DID deserve that red card. you gotta play by the rules and despite what everyone is saying that his elbow was way down, there is no excuses...you do not touch other players.
however, klose's red card was totally biased seeing it as the ref was on serbia's side and covered everything they did.

After one game. Which doesnt matter because theyre advancing anywayz.
Off topic, unlike what some people on the INTERWEBS are saying, that red card was completely legit, first pushing over that Ivory Coast player and then elbowing one down, all trying to provoke something and getting unnoticed by the ref while he was occupied. Spoiled strikers can be provocative like that, its what gets them penalties and free kicks.
And to the people responding below me, sorry to say but your pretty naive. Ive been watching soccer all my live and what may seem innocent to you can be very calculated and painful. Kaka didnt "defend" himself with his elbow. He shot it out and caught the other player in the middle of the chest. He knew the guy was coming, but instead of turning towards him or getting out of the way, (which is what you do if you try to defend yourself) he stood there calmly and timed his attack perfectly, trying to not look suspicious.

the reason why kaka got sent off was because the ivory coast chap was holding his face, hence saying kaka hit him in his face, NO HE DIDN'T!!! he was just defending himself, because the iv player was running up behind him and he simply just but his elbow back and accidently caught him. yeah the 1st yellow was called for, but not the second. oh and kaka will miss next match. and if the FA look back at 'attack' lol the iv player could even be banned to0 for a match, for faking his injury. (i got this of gary linekar of bbc1 after the match, so real match report)

Once you get a red card that means you're out for the next game. After that you're back. :D Hope it helped! Kaka deserved it btw, he's my fav player in the Brazil team but sadly you gotta play by the rules.
Red card = you miss just one game
