Mozilla Firefox issue?

This has never happened before, and I don't know what the issue is. I cannot open Mozilla Firefox. I've clicked a thousand times on the browser icon, reinstalled, I've tried everything. So the only thing to do is create another profile manager, which works. However it gets annoying to do it every now and then. I currently have 2 profile managers, but even so, every 2 days or less, my current browser would stop working. I then change to my previous profile manager, which works, for the same duration, and stops working.

Can someone explain this? And if there's a fix? Thank you.

If you have it set to update automatically it probably has but has gone wrong or failed to update the firewall but Give up on Firefox until its fixed there are currently just too many problems to rate it as a reliable piece of software. Try Orca, K-Meleon or Flock they are all free Mozilla based browsers and are all faster than Firefox. They have been produced by people who agree the Mozilla search engine is best but that firefox has gone wrong somewhere. If you go to firefox help pages or Mozillazine help pages you will see that the people there are extremely arrogant and blame everything and everybody for having problems with Firefox. Not a good sign. IE8 is OK with a shell like Avant or Maxthon or slim browser. But a browser that is not part of the OS will always be more secure. the less well known it is the less likely it will be hacked. when you start firefox open the task manager and see if a firefox process has started without a window, the record is 197 firefoxes all running with no window open it really does have some major problems

Well, I looked up the same problem online, and here's what I found:

You should check your firewall and make sure it allows you to use Mozilla Firefox to access the internet. Here's more info on that:

    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Configuring+Wi...

Also, if that doesn't work or is too confusing, use system restore; it can restore your computer back to when Mozilla Firefox last worked (as long as you didn't delete the restore points.) The last thing you can try to do is use an alternate browser like Internet Explorer (which is ok), Safari or Opera (it's a good browser even though it doesn't have as many features that you can get with IE (Internet Explorer), but it is fast.

    Good luck :)

check your firewall setting and make sure its in the trusted zone. do you get the same issues with internet explorer if so then download the latest patches and service packs and then malwarebytes its a malware program killer if those both fail try using cccleaner and clear out the crap data that might have got corrupt.

    Hi,

What i guess it... May be you have installed an Anti-virus software which prevents you from doing this.
