How do you defrag your computer?

    try this program. ive been using it for years.

    www.ccleaner.com it works amazing and does all the good things defrag does but faster.

    also, you can right click mycomputer and go do properties and i think you can defrag that way. but it takes a long time and can sometimes hurt your computer

    Go to "my computer" then right click any disk you want to defrag, select properties and go to the tab "tools" and select defrag.

    Then just let it run for however long it takes (couple of hours usually) and come back when it's done.

    I don't know your operating system. If it's Windows you'll probably want to download a free defragger. I personally like Auslogic Disk Defrag and Defraggler. Get one or both of them on download.com (where's it's guaranteed to be spyware free). Install, run, and click on "Defrag". It could take awhile, so you might want to do it overnight.

    I use CCleaner to clear my computer of unwanted files, and then defrag/optimize partitions using UltraDefrag.

    on a pc you go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, and disk defragmenter.
