Is BP at fault, or, are they just the collectable party? TransOcean, was drilling the well!?

Having spent countless hours researching this, please help me understand. TransOcean, was drilling the well, when the explosion happened. there ts nothing I can find that is man-made, that could have prevented the explosion, as, this is a oil pocket, of enormous proportions....causing unforeseen methane at huge pressures. Bp, owns the well, but DID NOT cause the disaster, TransOcean, did...but...TransOcean, is actually, CITGO, owned by, Hugo Chavez, and Venezuela, which wouldn't give us a dime!

So...is, BP, really responsible? Or are they just taking the fall, because they have attainable assets?

Right. Transocean built , staffed the rig with an all American crew, owned the rig and fitted the faulty American made cut off valve. 11 of their own workers sadly lost their lives and yet Transocean and not offered a single cent to compensate their grieving families let alone offered to share the cost of the clean up or even compensate the local fishermen. BP have put aside $20 billion for the clean up costs and any compensation costs but are still getting all the blame. Is it cheaper for them to load all the blame who they leased, at a cost,to ?

BP stepped up very early and accepted responsibility for the gusher.

Why people ignore that is beyond me ...

They are not "taking the fall". They accepted it. They know what time of day it is.

    .

"We are taking full responsibility for the spill and we will clean it up and where people can present legitimate claims for damages we will honor them. We are going to be very, very aggressive in all of that." (30april)(1)

"We ARE TAKING FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SPILL ...."

(Obama ... by the way ... did NOTHING. He didn't 'force' BP to do a thing. BP did it on their own.

Obama is only gathering up the credit for it. A great deal of what BP has done is not being reported because that doesn't fit the image which the media wishes to present.)

(In fact ... when BP spent $ to try and present their side of the story [on Google], they were slammed mightily for the effort!!)

There are documents which says three or four partners in the operation would also accept responsibility for any spills, etc, according to their share ... but those are things which BP will hash out with those companies.

To lay it out as it should be ... anyone on that rig had the power to stop any operation which they felt was unsafe or possibly hazardous ... and no one did that.

Jimmy Harrell, the Transocean man, was in charge of the operations at the time of the event ... as he put it at the hearing ... the rig was "latched".

Harrell had a "discussion" about the procedures early that day and left the "discussion" allegedly saying something like "I guess that's what we have those pincers for!" ... supposed a reference to the BOP. The indication is that he felt something was amiss ....

Test results ... the two "negative tests" ... were a sign that something wasn't right .. I ain't no oil man, but I gather someone should have stopped everything right there.

So it seems to me that Harrell was doing what the "BP man" wanted, but wasn't happy doing it.

And then this showed up ... "...Harrell was screaming, "Are you f***ing happy? Are you f***ing happy? The rig's on fire! I told you this was gonna happen."(2)

Kinda like a smoking gun, I should think.

this is what i have heard.

linsey williams on C2C said it was an "accident"

alex jones however says that there was a single person who gave the commandment to fill the "well" with sea water, which cause an explosion.

what i understand is that the people on oil rig Cussed and almost committed mutiny.

    ONE person gave the order.

another person followed the order and now we might have a biological case for murder on the first person.

BP might be the EVIL company, or it might have been a single person. i dont think the rest of the oil crew is guilty of anything except following orders.

then again i Know that accidents happens. if this particular accident was "forced" or pre-planned, anyone who dies because of the actions committed COULD BE prosecuted for MURDER>

now surely someone must of thought about putting lock off valves in? nope didn't think so. dodgy equipment caused it so it falls to trans.
