What are the best DVD's or CD's to record Videos? Please read ...?

I am a member of a church in Denver Colorado and we always record the predication which lasts for about 45 or 50 minutes long. We have a recorded, VHS AND other instruments. A guy told me that we need a Master DVD TO record good videos.

I was wondering what is the master CD or the best CD's to burn and record videos.

Please provide me any information you might have.

    I always use Maxwell 120 Minutes 4.7 GB AT 1-16X Speed plain DVDs and CDs the same Maxwell i have no problems.
