it depends one what you mean by faster, if you mean opening a program and how fast that is then it depends what you're uninstalling, if you uninstall something that runs in the background then yes that will speed up. BUT if you're talking about the loading speed of a browser to a webpage is slow or the ping to the server is high then you need a better ISP.

Uninstalling old programs and software can help you very little.. It depends on which programs you are deleting. Like many antiviruses usually takes a lot of RAM space. Cause they are always running on your computer. But Adobe Photoshop takes ram space only when you run it, same as games.. So see it doesn't help too much...
So if you want to speed up your internet it'll not help you such a large way. You can use DISK clean up, c-cleaner..to remove old unwanted files and a new pack released by microsoft named something like power or like that which finds duplicate file copies and delete them.. You can use this tools..
Don't try to delete a program manually, once I started to do that and finally ended upon destroying my system.. Machine memory depends upon olds dumps, registry files and many more.. And when you uninstall a software, it doesn't necessarily remove registry entries.. So if you want a complete make over of old speed then I'll suggest first back up all the datas and then format your pc and reinstall the system software an reliable antivirus and malware removal tool with firewall may be you can use microsoft security essential. And a few working soft like office, internet browser.. Stop using download accelerator cause they are the most memory eater.. Thank you..

As you uninstall unwanted programs, some of the programs that were running in the background and using up resources may be removed also. In this aspect the resources will be freed, improving system performance. On the same note, if you uninstall many programs I would suggest defragmenting the hard drive.
As far as the broadband dial up, I have never heard of this. In my experience, a dial up modem will only run a max of 56k, which is really slow, and not suitable for any broadband connection.
I hope this helps, have a great day, and be blessed.

Too many internet cookies will bog down an internet connection. Using a computer system cleaning tool regularly will help your computer and dial up run faster. You also need to check for Malware regularly, even if you think your computer doesn't have any Malware. Most dial up internet service providers offer high speed dial up for very little money. Make sure your ISP account is a high speed dial up account. You cant really increase the download speed of a dial up connection, but there are several ways to speed up internet surfing speed.

Yes, by deleting unused computer programs, you free up your RAM (random access memory) to not have to go through those programs when searching for the application you are wanting to run. Just be careful and only delete the things that you know what they are. If your computer gives you a warning of some kind, look it over and be sure that you know what it is saying before going further.
And no, no broadband dial up.

Programs do not affect performance if they aren't in execution , and secondly is there no such ting as broadband dial up . And the download speed is only affected by the internet connection and good settings for your connection .

The amount of programs installed on computer doesn't effect your internet speed unless one of those programs is causing issues or is downloading in the background.
If you decide to uninstall programs you might see an increase in the general performance of your computer especially when accessing programs, files or opening them.

You can go ahead and try it. It's always good to get rid of the programs you have installed that you don't use anymore.
