Best bet will be find a Coachmen dealer. The weight of the RV body will affect the overall towing capacity. This vehicle gets a GCWR when it is manufactured, and that is the total of the vehicle, its cargo, and whatever it happens to be towing. You do not want to exceed that GCWR when you are setting up to tow. But any modifications that Coachmen did to chassis, or its components affect this rating and the overall towing capacity. This rating is completely seperate from the trailer hitch. I have a 88 F250, 7.5l with the auto and its GCWR is about 11k lbs. Take the 5000 lb truck out and you get a towing/cargo capacity of about 6k.
