Why are hot dogs sold in packs of 10 and hot dog buns sold in packs of 8?

The extra 2 are for people who don't like them on the buns! lol.

Most Hot Dog Packages I've seen are sold in 8.

honestly, i replaced into 4tunate 2 locate at Vons a equipment of Ball Park warm dogs that had ate, an identical # of buns in yet another equipment. i wager not all warm dogs or buns are offered interior an identical parts if u go searching. yet it is merely me.

Hot dogs are sold by weight

I find packs of 8 dogs... and packs of 10 buns... depends on your store and who sells it. Of course you can buy more of each... ;)

The dogs of 8... are turkey dogs usually... which means I can eat 4 of them to one all beef dog.

it's definitely intentional, it's so you have to buy 2 packs of buns and waste your money

thats a good question lol maybe so you have extra if u want extra sausage in da hot dog

two extra buns as spare in case you drop or burn some of the buns or for your guests that don't eat meat, just give them buns with catsup, mustard or relish!!!!

i think they give you 2 extra hot dogs so you can chop them up and mix them in with your macaroni and cheese =D
