I live in an apartment, and we are always borrowing random food from people in our building when we are cooking, but its usually just small things like 2 or 3 eggs or a cup of milk or vegetable oil. they always say we dont have to return it, but we do sometimes.

no but my neighbor borrows stuff at least once a week, they usually come back after a month or so.

I ran over the cat with my car and we had to bury it, and couldn't find our shovel. (seriously lol) We live out in the country.
