My Hair Metal band of the day (Take 12)?

Hair metal era is an often misunderstood and disrespected era of metal history. For whatever reason it seems that people have dismissed hair metal as only being about image and a being full of a bunch of no talented musicians. There were so many bands that have been overlooked or dismissed based on listening to a song or two.

Today's band is probably known by most people but only for a couple songs, "Smooth Up In Ya" and "For The Love Of Money" (an O'Jays cover) and by the singers ability be do a better David Lee Roth than Roth himself. They kept getting better with each album while their popularity kept diminishing. They have kept their name going in some form but it was their original lineup that produced their best material. The following songs are from their first three albums and show the band having a real knack for creating some very catchy tunes. If you are unfamiliar with their two hits I have included them but I am wanting to highlight more their other material so there are a couple more songs than normal. (feel free to skip their main hits if you like.)

I have honestly never heard of 'em

this is a pretty solid band. I don't feel they're too much better than most hair metal bands, but they're decent. I've also never heard the original version of "High on St. Christopher", but this version was good (even though I have nothing I can compare it to. in all the songs, the riffs were pretty good the vocals were pretty good, and the drumming was pretty good.

BQ: toss up between Anko from Japan (not sure where exactly it was bought) and Nalishniki (dunno how you spell it, it's Ukrainian) from Shumka (a Ukrainian food restaurant)

BQ: hell yeah, I'm still trying to find non-live versions of songs by Infernal Chaos, Bellfast, Hoozuki, Galmet, Crescent Lament, Hercules, Nocturne Moonrise, Power Overwhelming, and Oscuriam, and I just recently found Dark Mirror ov Tragedy

i grew to become into there and having a blast. I did be conscious there gave the look to be an onslaught of those massive haired kinda uninteresting bands leaping on the gravy practice..yet no want for the actual deal to die...then I heard teenager Spirit and observed Kurt Cobain and Nirvana and you may desire to tell that circumstances have been changing. Sorry to declare that they replaced for the greater severe and robust to make certain grunge died a effective rapid dying. i grew to become into distant places from 1987-1990 so I ignored alot of the tip of the hair band days yet they have been effective solid circumstances and a few effective solid music and no depressing lyrics or political nonsense. in basic terms solid circumstances.
