Spiritually playing...?

I just bought myself a Duncan Butterfly yo-yo! Yo-yos (and particularly the Duncan Butterfly) were always my favorite toy as a child. I have been playing with it off and on all day and felt more relaxed and happy than I have in ages! Do you have a favorite toy from childhood and do you occasionally indulge in play? I think play is good for the soul.

Bonus Q: If you could test drive a religion for a day, which would you choose and why?

    sand pictures

i wanted one when i was about 11 or 12, got one, and had it a while, then it broke, but i saved some of the sand, for years afterwards, in a tiny bottle

then i just decided, it was 'time', and ritualy poured it all out ;-(

now i want one again, i never get round to it

play is great for soul and mind, i love acting immature on the rare occasion, i still try to walk on the edge of the pavment, still jump in the autum leaves, still make snow angels, these things are necesary

    ohh probably judaism or buddhism

good q, uniqe to the usual here

The hula hoop. Oh man. But a word of warning: never hula hoop in Walmart in Oklahoma, because an old perv will find you and talk VERY LOUDLY about what a sexy thing you are. . . hula hooping.

BQ: Islam. Full Burk-ha and all. I want to know how it feels to be so damn inconspicuous. I want to be single though. I am not waiting on a man hand and foot. Well at least not without a good dose of oral. For me. I suspect it doesn't happen all too often for our poor Muslim sisters.

To add: No way! Occulty? That was YOU? Don't believe it! ;-)

When I was a kid I loved my big wheel. I wasn't interested in learning to ride a bicycle because I loved my big wheel. I have a four year old, we fight over playing with toy cars and racetracks. It must be a guy thing.

I'm Catholic so it wouldn't be a different religion but I would love to be a medieval warrior-monk for a day. That would totally kick butt.

properly, as President of the Possum Advisory Board, i'm honestly qualified to respond to your question. unhappy to assert, possums, we choose that over opossum because it type of feels to be slightly, lets say pretentious, do not play spiritually lifeless. lifeless as a door nail, squished by technique of a truck lifeless, run over by technique of even a small Honda lifeless, sure. yet spiritually? No.

Hey that's cool. Good for relaxation and makes you a happy bunny.

I choose Buddhism. Well the philosophy of it at least.

Legos. What kind of person doesn't love Legos?

Zoroastrianism, because it involves burning things. Or Old Testament Judaism, because it involved burning things.

We Catholics burn incense. At least that smells good.

    a water pistol.

i used to chap on my neighbours doors, hide behind the hedges and soak them as they opened it.

    some actually found it funny.

i would use it today,to go round shops squirting the workers.

very childish and silly, but great fun.

BQ;shintoism, because i have no clue as to what it involves
