questions about non-scholarship ROTC cadet?

I know i cannot get a scholarship because I am over the weight requirement, 72 in 260 lbs, my question is since i wont be getting a scholarship will I still be able to take MS1 classes at college or is there a way i would be able to work out with the ROTC cadets. I will be attending Ole Miss in the fall if that matters

Yes, you can take MS1 and MS2 while not contracted. If you really want it tho, you should plan on trying to contract your MS2 year, that way you can get all the benefits of it. Good luck with the weight!
