Why would we call Jesus Lord, and do not the things which He says?

    If that is the case, we will not go to heaven, but I can assure you that Christians follow Jesus. Yes, yes we fall short on all counts, but we repent and ask to be forgiven. We try hard to turn the other cheek, and love our enemies.

    To fool ourselves. There are alot of people who like the feeing of saying that we are fillled with the spirit of God, but walking the walk is a different thing. He obeyed the commandments, went to the passover and all the other celebrations. He spent His life trying to help people. He even pointed out the one pharissee that proclaimed himself to be holy and obeyed the commandments but Jesus pointed out how his heart wasn't truly in it. Humility is part of holiness. we don't glorify ourselfs for obeying the commandments, but realize that they are only guidelines to help us learn how to be holy
