Do you believe you picked your church family and pastor....?

or, do you believe it was by God's design that you are where you are?

Please do share your insights, and thanks.

Love, grace, joy....2 all

Update:

Gary P - If God's directing our path, won't we be where He chooses?

Update 2:

Mommah - absolutely, thank you.

Update 3:

.....................

Act 17:26 From one man he made all the people of the world. Now they live all over the earth. He decided exactly when they should live. And he decided exactly where they should live.

Since God chose the place where we are to live, would He not also have chosen a specific place and a family of believers HE wants us to worship with and be a part of?

NO.. I think I was sent to the church I attend my PASTOR is white though that means nothing to me I wanted to share that for those who are RACIST and still say they BELIEVE.. and I wanna LIFT UP any other church that has a very STRONG BELIEF in GOD'S WORD where GOD IS NUMBER 1....

I LOVE THOSE KINDS OF PASTORS AND CHURCHES.. especially the CHURCHES that TEACH you and you are able to UNDERSTAND how to use the AUTHORITY GOD gave US here on earth... NOT WAVERING on GOD'S WORD....

PEACE, and PROSPERITY TO YOU ALL....

I feel that God works through people. Early this year I moved to a different part of town and was drawn to a small church in the area, Since then the church has expanded some of their ministry's, At one point they had a small Pantry and now it has blossomed in to an awesome ministry, with that another door open for us and we offer free bread to everyone. We have new people coming every week, when we ask other people what brought them here to our Church? They replied That God has led them to the Church.

i be conscious of that's tricky to discover a church which you're feeling mushy in. i even have had a tricky time looking the church it is ideal for me! (and that i'm a variety of loopy Pentecostals you communicate of.) the only suggestion i be conscious of to furnish you is come across a church that has some human beings your age the place you could meet believers and get 'plugged in.' additionally be beneficial that's a church that teaches the Bible and would not twist around the words to in wonderful condition w/e they're attempting to tutor. A church that teaches the reality in God's observe.

God has given us free will.

God also orders the steps of the righteous. If we will "lean not on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Him, then He will make our paths straight". This means He guides and leads us as we make good decisions depending upon Him.

Neither. It is one of those things that I have insignificant control of and is generally random. Whether or not it is God's plan for me will unfold over time. I trust God to let me know either way. I continue to pray and reflect on my life.
