Did you hear about the Christian farmer with a literal interpretation of the bible?
He wanted to breed a herd of cattle so he did what Noah allegedly did and got one cow and one bull. But then he realized that cows only give birth to one calf at a time. And then he realized that his first generation would have to breed with either siblings or parents. Then his second generation turned out to be retarded cows. He didn’t even get a third generation; they were born with such terrible birth defects that he had to shoot them. The Christian farmer with a literal interpretation of the bible had to give up and admit that either the Noah’s Ark myth is impossible or he was just too stupid to be a farmer. Do you feel sad for this Christian farmer with a literal interpretation of the bible?

You do realise that genetic abnormalities don't happen in just three generations. If we take the Genesis account literally then the in-breeding can account for the fact that humans once lived for around 1000 years and as the consequences of in-breeding began to take effect, so genetic illnesses, reduced immune systems etc eventually shortened human life expectancies to around 100 years.
If we are to take the Genesis account literally and assume that Adam and Eve and their children must have inbred then we are all suffering form genetic illness and are only living for one tenth of our natural life expectancy.
The Genesis account however says:
Genesis 1:27 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
This verse could be interpreted to imply that Adam and Eve were not necessarily the only two people that God created (they could be but are not necessarily the only two). So even a literal interpretation of Genesis could still avoid the necessity for inbreeding.

In some of the examples you have cited, you're making the error that there must be a natural explanation for them or they couldn't have occurred. In the study of science ~ There are many difficulties, yet you assume explainability for them. Many things are indeed explainable, and research is continued over controversy. In the study of The Bible ~ There are many difficulties, and we assume explainability for them. Many things are Indeed explainable, and research is continued over controversy. However, critics of The Bible are not fair-minded as they presume it to be guilty of error instead of innocent. They confuse our fallible interpretations of it with Gods infallable revelation. There are no scientific or historical errors in The Bible ~ none! The Genesis account is not symbolic. Neither is the flood nor is the story of Jonah. Even though the big bang theory remains unproven and it can't answer questions like ~ where did all the matter come from in the first place ~ evolutionists and atheists alike are quite content to believe it anyway. So why is it so hard to believe that God spoke everything into existence? If he is the creator of all things could he not cause Jonah to survive in the belly of a fish? As for Jesus' miracles and his resurrection, there were many eye witnesses to these things. It takes about 2 generations or 80 years for a myth to develop ~ long after the eyewitnesses to the accounts have died. But the Apostles began teaching immediately, and the first letters to the churches contained in The New Testament were written about 30 or 40 years after Jesus ascended into Heaven. It's pretty hard to propagate a myth while the eyewitnesses are still alive. Not only that, but there are over 5,700 manuscripts that prove the authenticity of the New Testament alone. Most ancient books have only one or two. Such is the case with Alexander The Great, and nothing was even written about him until 500 years after his death.

this is another reason for birth defects in babies , unbeknown to each other the parents are related , look at the divorces, defacto , illegitimate children , fathers unknown , step parents ,when these kids grow up and take up relationships with their partners , who knows if they are not cousins, half brothers or sisters , especially in close knit communities .
in the uk pakistani children have the most birth defects owing to marriages with close relations

i wonder if he thought also that he could part the see? like Moses did
the obvious answer is that Noah not only had God on his side, but WAS TOLD TO DO THESE THING BY GOD, i guess with the divine guiding you all things are possible
even getting into heaven becomes in our grasp
23Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
25When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"
26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

God doesn't watch over everyone's cows. God did however watch over the ones from Noah's Ark so as to re-establish them. Also you must remember that Noah was given instruction to take seven of clean animals into the ark, cows are considered clean animals so there were more to work with. Stupid farmer. I am so looking forward to Armageddon to when Jesus gets rid of the unbelievers. Peace at last.

He should have tried out putting the cows in front of striped things to mate in order to get striped offspring! (Genesis 30:37-43)

I'm not sure where you're going with this - only people I feel sad for is one - you: for spending to much time and thought in writing a lesson you dreamed up to be much bigger in your head, and two: everyone for reading this is now a little less intellegent than they were before by coming down to your level of imigination.

Wait.....so, the bible somehow doesn't make perfect sense, and every story in it doesn't abide by the laws of nature, magically influenced by magic?
No way!
