In law is the word" bloody "ever been proven a swear word?

Bloody is a word often used in conversation here in the UK and is rarely regarded as offensive,but as there ever been a legal ruling on the word.

    .never heard a precedent of it being regarded as a swear word in our courts here in the land of Oz either

    There are no laws defining what are what are not "swear words". However, using certain types of language may be "disturbing the peace" in certain situations or a similar crime. This is on a case by case basis, there is no list of words you're not allowed to say.

    When it comes to television/game ratings and censorship, I'm sure the word is included somewhere on the list of words to look for, but there's no calculation or count of what "swear words" are said. Again, the ratings are on a case by case basis.

    I doubt it. Its a mild swear word. Kinda like saying damn. Not a big deal. I think maybe a long time ago it was. Because I think it refereed to the blood of Christ or something. There is a question concerning this matter on yahoo answers already. You should search it and you will get a long explanation.
