Does Verizon Report Good Payment's On Time Accounts To Credit Reports?
Just curious as to if paying my cell phone on time for a year counts at all. Or do they just report deliquent accounts?

Rent, utilities, cell phones, insurance, and similar bills are not extensions of credit and are not reported to the credit bureau unless you default on the debt and it's sold to a collection agency. The collection agency reports the debt to the credit bureaus.

Sorry to disappoint you.... the only time Verizon will report anything on your credit report is when you don't pay the bill and the account is sold to collections.
Paying bills like phone bill, utilities and rent.... are never recorded on your credit report.
Here is why: They are bills and not loans that you are paying back.
A credit card is essentially a loan since you have a credit limit available to use as you please and then you pay back what you used.
Any type of loan of course is exactly that. An amount you borrow and then pay back.
A bill is a charge you accumulate for a service rendered and then you get the bill and it is due within a set time. Don't pay the bill and let the bills accrue... then it turns into an unapproved "loan" and will end up on your credit report because now you owe a lot of money without having a loan contract but are still expected to pay it off. (this is when it shows up on your credit report if the creditor chooses to do so and especially when the debt is sold to a collection agency).

Only if you default and it goes to collections does it get tacked onto your report.
