Is there a law against naming your dog something totally inappropriate?

Not necessarily vulgar, but inappropriate like naming a dog 'Rape' and then standing in the front lawn yelling Rape!!!' Rape!! Rape!! C'mere Rape!!

Is there a particular law that would apply when your neighbors inevitably call the police?

Sure. It would be like running into a store yelling fire. Free speech or not you are going to get into trouble.

Well, there probably isn't a specific law covering specifically that, but the Police tend to lump all of those types of incidents under the general heading of "Disturbing The Peace," so, one way or another, trust me, they'll stop you.

    Good luck!... ☺

Who says its against the law to print the full legal name of anyone in an article?

Not a good idea. It's like yelling "Fire" in a crowded movie theatre. Against the law and you go to jail for causing a riot.

I think the first amendment says no, but why would anyone want to do that? They would hilariously humiliate themselves.
