implanon while pregnant?

hey.

so short and simple. the condom broke when me and my partner had sex .. and i went off the pill. i didnt think i would need to get the morning after pill because i am getting the implanon.

so if i were pregnant and if i get the implanon. will the implanon cause me to miscarry?

or is the womb like protected.

i know i probable seem like a dumb teen. but i am just curious.

Update:

i wasnt on my period before i got the implanon. and they didnt run any tests. what if i was to have unprotected sex a few days before getting the implanon and fell pregnant from that? ive already got it in my arm. so ill just have to wait and see :)

    Before you have the Implanon put in to begin with you will have to be on your period. If you aren't, they won't put it in. And not only that but they just don't go by your word, they actually do a pee test and blood work.

    If you aren't bleeding, you aren't going to get the Implanon.

    If you are pregnant, your doctor will not insert the Implanon. They will do a urine test before hand to verify that you are not pregnant.
