How to play A-B-C sequence on clarinet?

I just started playing the clarinet. Very easy to play EXCEPT I'm having a hard time smoothly playing sequence of 2nd octave A-B-C and back down C-B-A. Specifically, A-B and B-A. There's a very big shift in fingering but also in how you have to blow the thing. Also there's a lag in blowing B and C and sound coming out (I guess you need a sharp attack). Any helpful hints?

When playing throat A ( or G ,G#,Bflat) have your right hand down and waiting. It will n ot change the throat tones BUT you now have only the right hand to worry about.

Delay in tone coming is from slow fingering. No matter how slow or fast the notes are the fingering should be quick.

The break is indeed a hard thing to work with. (the A to B) Easiest (and best, in the long run) take lessons, or get in touch with some old friends.
