Harry Redknapp, England Manager?

Lets be honest, if Steve McLaren got us to the World Cup finals, then we would not have performed any worse than this.

Time for an English manager, time for England to play with English mentality.

Every Englishman has seen what has been wrong with England in this World Cup. The modern English game is different to the kind of game we have tried to play.

Beckenbauer was right about us, and the warning sign was in bringing Heskey back to be the big man up front to knock down the long ball to Rooney. But that style is a relic of English football from 15 years ago,and if that is Capello's idea of English football, or the classic foreign view of English football, then it is time for an English England manager.

I can think of no one better than 'Arry.

Harry Redknapp would be the best choice I can think of. Look what he did with Tottenham. When he took over they were 19th, now they are champions league. An English manager would know how the players feel.

With an established, English, premiership manager England would finally play Premier League football. Our players play in the fastest and roughest league in the world and if we played the Premier League way we could beat anybody. But I suppose with the physicality of the Premier League, if we played that way so many of the foreign ref's would give so many fouls against us.

But I really hope Harry Redknapp becomes England manger. But would he, he has next season in the champions league to look forward to with Tottenham and why would he get a job that places so much pressure on you.

England was beaten by a 21st Century German footballing team, who play with a better technique, better professionalism and commitment to the national squad. Playing with passion is a phrase that is over hyped. What is needed is a cool head and a deadly ruthless professional eye to get players and a system that gets a job done.

Harry Redknapp should have been manager when the FA had the chance to pick him before he went to Tottenham. He is a purist in the game knows Instinctively what is a good player and he is practical and can think on his wits. Capello is very rigid and gives the players to much instructions instead of trusting them.

It's too late now to prise Harry away from Tottenham, but his son Jamie and Clive Allen could be brought on oversee the next generation youngsters who are technically good at the very least.

Today German beat England. It could have been Ghana just as easily.

I am speaking as a non-supporter for Englang, in other words I don't support them, and this is totally objective. Nay, Capello has done a great deal as Real Madrid coach. Redknapp might have led Tottenham to the CL 4th spot but Capello knows his 23-man squad well and Redknapp will not be familiar with the squad. Okay, here's the deal: If Capello manages to reach the semi-finals in the World Cup, we keep him. If he doesn't, then we fire him. Harry Redknapp or Roy Hodgson to overtake.

    Redknapp duo:-

Get Harry in as England manager with Jamie as his right hand man. It's about time we had an England camp that knows about English football, from the language we speak to the way we play football.

Yeah, Harry would make a great manager, also a plus he's English.

Not that my dad would agree after getting into an argument with him a few years ago.

But seemed like he knew his stuff, and will do better then Capelo.
