How can I get the AVG anti virus software to stop preventing me from opening my internet browser?
When I go to open my internet browser on my other laptop a page for AVG anti virus software pops up and say that I have a virus and need anti virus software, and says i must purchase it now. The thing is I have Norton's anti virus 360 up and running and that say I am protected. I've run a scan and yet AVG is preventing me from opening my internet browser. Does anyone know how I can fix this without having to bring it to geek squad?

Wow, you definitely have a hardcore virus on your hands. Try downloading Malware Bytes. It's the best tool for removing spyware and does a damn good job. You will have to run the long scan a few times. But, it's well worth it.

"That's not AVG--It's a rogue site trying to sell you some crap". Go to your internet options and block this site. Also would get a malware and spyware program and scan your computer.
