You need to record the music first (this is called the backing track). You cant do it the other way around as you have to follow the music not the music falling you. If you can get someone to play the guitar or keyboard for you and only record your voice first then that's fine you can add instruments later. Band in a Box is a good program to help you write and record music with your PC and has all the instruments you need you can get this from PC World, but it's a professional program and you would need help to operate it if you're not into music sequencing.
