Sony vegas pro 8.0 problems!?
When i try to import a video clip. this is what i get.
Warning: an error occurred while opening one or more files. this is an unsupported format. Now that I have bought a new, Pinnacle dazzle dvd recorder. its fine. but the main problem is. When I transfer a video from another computer through a flash drive memory stick, it doesnt work it gives me that error. its weird. I cant open it unless its from the computer with sony vegas. even if its made with windows movie maker and imported to sony vegas. it wont work :( (btw im using a dazzle dvd recorder to record me playing xbox 360.) so please help, oh and btw. when I import a video file thats made by a dazzle the preview screen is all half of the entire screen is black and only the bottom half is showing a very bit of the video. please help me!! thank you :)

Are you trying to edit from the flash drive? If so, transfer the video file to the hard drive (desktop) and try it.
